Passport validity information for adults and children travelling to Spain
If you are a British European Union passport holder and wish to travel to Spain, you do not need 3 months or 6 months validity on your passport and are able to travel freely as long as your passport remains valid before the date of arrival in the UK.
This is applicable for mainland Spain, as well as the Canary & Balearic Island, Ceuta & Melilla.
Children under 16 years of age who are included in their parents´ or guardians´ passports can travel to Spain provided that they are accompanied by them. They are not allowed to travel under other relatives passports.
