VISA INFORMATION

The following twenty two member states of the European Union; Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden, plus Iceland and Norway signatories of the Schengen Agreement issue a uniform visa called the Schengen visa.

The Schengen visa will allow the holder to travel to or through all the above countries and move freely within the validity of the visa. If you intend to visit ONE Schengen country, you must apply for a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of that country. Should you intend to visit SEVERAL of the Schengen countries, you must apply for a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of the country in which your MAIN destination is situated.

To obtain this type of visa you will be required to hold a passport or travel document that is recognised by all the Schengen member states. If your passport or travel document is only valid for certain member states the validity of your Schengen visa will be restricted to these states.

Holders of Schengen visas are still subject to immigration control at the point of entry and are not guaranteed entry into any of the Schengen member countries, should they not comply with current travel regulations, even though they may hold a valid visa for these countries.
