Functions of the Embassy
The most important functions of the Embassy are:
- To protect Spanish interests in the U.K.
- To defend Spanish positions and opinions before the British authorities.
- To inform the Spanish Government of British domestic and foreign policies.
- To organise visits from official Spanish representatives to the U.K.
- To build friendly relations between both countries.
- To forge economic, cultural and scientific relations between Spain and the U.K.
